Avant-Gaudy began as a hobby in the Spring of 1995. After a day of shopping, I returned home with some plastic beads and stringing materials. I made my first necklace, and I was hooked. However, plastic beads would not suffice. I moved on to unique glass beads and eventually graduated to semi-precious stones.

My earliest collection, Artizen, features pieces that are delicate, classic and bohemian. While the newest collection, Lolligems, has a bolder and more fanciful flavor.

All of my jewelry is hand made, using only semi-precious stones, gold-filled or sterling silver clasps and ear wires, and non-tarnish copper wire.
